JOKA

Joka was born on March 2nd, 2003, he was born at Riverside New Jersey. Joka grew up with
both of his parents till the age of three, but his mom and dad split, and his family had to work
even harder now to be able to live a comfortable and decent life. Even though Joka’s parents
split it didn’t stop him from at least trying to build a relationship with his father. As Joka Grew
older over time he started to get new additions to his family his mom had his frst sibling his
name was Jermai and then by the age of seven Joka had a newer sibling a sister named Si’Ayra,
he also had another brother name Univers, and another little sister three years ago named
Sariah. Joka didn’t let his family being split up from stopping him from making and building
bonds with all his siblings and he cares about them very much to this day. Music came into Joka
life around the age of nine he started to make music and then made his frst song at the age of
11 with the help of his uncle who supported him all the way his uncle took him to a studio and
while in for studio sessions, Joka just fell in love with music over time Joka began to grow
connections with many people, with those connections built Joka hopes to be able to work with
those artist. Joka has made a couple of songs and his songs are called Jersey Bop, they don’t
know my Body, and Manny Man. Joka music is similar to artist like Lil Durk who is similar to artist
like 21 savage and Polo g. Joka performed his frst live song Infront of an audience on January
11th, 2022. Joka’s music is a way for him to tell stories about his life and come ups as a artist
and how he was raised in Riverside, New Jersey and how he faced adversity. Joka in 2022 is a
Artist at Albright College’s Lion Records and he is currently art of the Rap Collective which is a
group of artist mainly made up of rappers.
